#ALSICEBUCKETCHALLENGE

Nowadays, ice bucket challenge is now a trend. Everyone is pouring ice waters on themselves within 24 hours after nominated by a friend. You can be nominated by many friends also. Just that you need to pour yourself again and again. The only thing is that after you pour yourself a bucket of ice waters, you need to donate to the foundation. I don’t know whether others donate it after pouring themselves, but it’s the purpose. So, just donate it even like $5 and so on. It’s totally up to you.

What’s it like after pouring you a bucket of ice waters?

It’s pretty cooling. After pouring ice waters on you, you will have a instant cooling effects and brain freeze? Sorts of is that feeling. You feel extra cooling effects and just a sudden only. Haha! You can try it if someone nominated you.

What’s ALS stands for?

ALS was first found in 1869 by French neurologist Jean-Martin Charcot, but it wasn’t until 1939 that Lou Gehrig brought national and international attention to the disease. Ending the career of one of the most beloved baseball players of all time, the disease is still most closely associated with his name. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. Motor neurons reach from the brain to the spinal cord and from the spinal cord to the muscles throughout the body. The progressive degeneration of the motor neurons in ALS eventually leads to their death. When the motor neurons  die, the ability of the brain to initiate and control muscle movement is lost. With voluntary muscle action progressively affected, patients in the later stages of the disease may become totally paralyzed.

I accepted the challenge by my friend. I didn’t expect actually. Haha! I enjoy the process. Haha!
