Travel: Day 1 at Bali

Day 1 at Bali

I’m going to start my story here.
At the morning, me and my family took flight from hometown to KLIA and continue our journey to Bali.
During the transit time, we almost miss our flight. Luckily, we arrived just in time and we rushed to the terminal gate for boarding.
It can be said: Lucky us!!

Upon arrive to Bali International Airport, we meet out tour guide and we straight to Uluwatu Temple. This temple is known as the mysterious holly ancient temple. This temple located at the level of 250 feet above sea level on the southern point of pura luhur.

This place is seriously gorgeous. Before you arrived this place, you will be warned by the tour guide on behalf of the monkeys. This place is full of monkeys. Previously these monkeys will just grab your foods but now they are trained to steal your things from don’t know who he/she is. You need to extra aware or your own belonging if you visit this place. Make sure your bag is carried in front of you but not at the back. In front is belonging to yours, at back it belongs to the monkeys.

Those monkeys love to steal bright items for example sunglasses, necklaces, and so on. I myself watched few people involved. Those monkeys just take your sunglasses like F1 and don’t ever think that they will give back to you. They are fast and fierce. You don’t have the strength to take it back from what they steal from you. So, if you are happen to visit this place, don’t wear any branded sunglasses or any bright thing. Just keep in the bag and watch them out carefully.

Aside from the monkeys, of course, you are here to see the fantastic sea waves. They have strong waves and all are in layered. They are extra outstanding looking. You just wow at all time. You can feel cooling there especially you are at the edge of the stairs. The sounds of the waves just make you so relaxing. I miss this place so much! Up at the cliff, you can have a great view of the sea. It’s like panorama view above there. So fascinating.

Let me show you here.

After visiting the temple, it was around evening.
Then, we straight go to our dinner at Jimbaran Beach.

I took us about 1 hour and plus to arrive the beach.
Long journey, welcome to Bali.
It took hours to reach the next destination. Urgh!

We had a seafood BBQ and lobster dinner by the seaside.
Due to the traffic jam, we are unable to dine under sunset.
Indeed, we dined in dark. Purffft!!
We see nothing from the sky except the dark but we can still listen the sea singing.
Lovely.
Our foods are served then here comes a couple of singer with guitars.
All I can say is that I don’t enjoy your singing and I was enjoying the sea sound.
Imagine that you having a dinner with sea sound then someone just came in and interrupt you.
Bad feelings.
But still thanks for the songs.

If you follow a group once, you will know after dinner, you will be send back to hotel.
You know, you get to travel and back to hotel so early is not a happy thing.
You have so many hours more until bedtime and you just spend your time in room watching tv and get bath done. Others, bored.
The hotel wifi is slow like tortoise and it can’t be loaded somehow. Like wtf.
How can it be so slow?
Except for the wifi, the services are pretty good.

Stay tuned for Day 2 at Bali.

                Good Luck,
